SOA
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is an approach to building business applications driven by the need for integration across and beyond the enterprise, lower IT costs, and business agility in a fast-changing world.
Web Services
Web services describes a standardized way of integrating Web-based applications using the XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI open standards over an Internet protocol backbone. However, the term is also used to describes a modular software component that uses a standard Web interfaces to communicate with other software containing Web service interfaces.
